With 27 years of continued clinical PA experience, Ms Niven is able to provide expert opinions on standard of care issues in the Urgent Care setting. She continues her clinical career, currently practicing as a Physician Assistant in an Urgent Care Clinic in Texas.
Since 2006 she has been involved with assisting legal professionals in several states, evaluating care provided by PA’s. This includes written evaluations of the standard of care, detailed time- lines of care and providing insight into the role of other medical professionals or administration policies involved in the delivery of healthcare.
She can provide insight on PA practices in the Urgent Care practices provided in the virtual health or telehealth setting, as well as in-person Urgent Care.

With over 40 years’ experience in healthcare, Marsha Niven is uniquely qualified to provide expert opinions on the care provided by a Physician Assistant in the Urgent Care setting as well as uniquely qualified to provide insight as to other aspects of care provided. Her qualifications include:
- 27 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Ambulatory Care/Family Practice, and Occupational Medicine.
- 15+ years providing medical expert witness consulting and testimony.
- Specialized experience in Occupational Medicine, including DOT physical requirements, work-related injuries, and return to work qualifications.
- 18 years of nursing experience in Emergency and Critical Care nursing, in bedside, supervisory and educational roles.
- Several years of teaching critical care nursing, including developing formal preceptor programs.
